Propose information, relevant documents and (educational/training) material for the SSbD Knowledge Sharing Portal

The EU Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals (PARC) is a public-public partnership working to benefit human health and the environment by developing better chemical risk assessment and supporting the implementation of research and innovation for societal benefit.

Among many other objectives, PARC aims to support the operationalisation of Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD). As part of this work, the PARC SSbD Knowledge Sharing Portal has been initiated to promote knowledge transfer, community exchange, and education on SSbD.1

We kindly ask for your collaboration in keeping the SSbD Knowledge Sharing Portal up to date.

As this survey aims to collect suggestions for updating the SSbD Knowledge Sharing Portal, there is no deadline for making entries.

All information collected will be considered to supplement the SSbD Knowledge Sharing Portal, available here.

If you have any problems or questions, do not hesitate to contact us at portal@parc-ssbd.eu

Thank you for your collaboration!

The PARC project involves more than 200 institutions from 29 countries, from universities, to public health organisations, research institutions, national health authorities, health care institutes, and three EU agencies (the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the European Environment Agency (EEA)). PARC aims to develop next-generation chemical risk assessment to protect human health and the environment. It supports the European Union's Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability and the European Green Deal's “Zero pollution” ambition with new data, knowledge, methods and tools, expertise, and networks. Within PARC's WP8 on “Concepts and toolboxes”, Task 8.1 aims to support the operationalization of Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD). SSbD is a strategic approach to develop and evaluate new chemicals and materials and evaluate existing ones, keeping in mind the functionality and minimizing negative impacts on human health and the environment.
